Yana Kudryavtseva's plans after an operation.

The repeated world rhythmic gymnastics champion, Yana Kudryavtseva, announced to the agency “R-Sport” that she counts on recovering after her foot injury till the beginning of the season of 2016.

Yana Kudryavtseva achieved 5 gold medals at the World Championships in Stuttgart in 2015. At the end of September Yana underwent an operation. After it she has to wear a special orthopedic shoe for six weeks.

«I don’t want to make any plans for the first start. We’ll see how everything goes. I hope that from the beginning of the season, at Grand-Prix in Moscow, I’ll be able to compete. I’m that type of person who doesn’t need a lot of time to get the shape back. I have no problems with that. We’ll do everything possible to make up a program on time which would be appreciated by judges and viewers.”- Yana Kudryavtseva said.

“The checkup is going to be held in Germany in a month, the rehabilitation will be conducted there as well. I hope that I’ll be able to perform at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. I think that even if I hadn’t had this injury I could also probably miss the Olympics. Even the healthiest sportsman shouldn’t exclude that.”-  the interlocutress added.
